What a cheesy smile huh? Lottie wanted me to cut her hair short....so here she is! I think my favorite feature on Lottie is her little Southern Chinese cheeks....they are just poochy and darling! She is doing a little better this morning. They both have been swimming six or more hours a day and last night they slept thirteen hours! We are feeling your prayers.
We are not really doing anything but relaxing around the house. Two things though I keep forgetting to ask you to pray for from our trip home. It seems that every place we went to the Lord placed someone in our path that needed Him and our prayers. In Charleston while down at the pool with the girls I had a long conversation with Robert who was taking his children swimming. His older son, who was only 8 years old, really had a potty mouth. I was shocked at the language coming out of his mouth and his Dad really never said anything to him which led me to believe this was normal language in their home. I began talking to him about what he did for a living and eventually to church. He said they had a bad experience in "church" and were waiting until the children were older to go back to church. I spent over an hour talking with him on the importance of Jesus in all of their lives and to please not wait one minute longer. I told him there were so many churches in North Carolina where they lived and so my prayer is that somehow I placed a burden in his heart for the Lord and for his children to have the Spirit living within them as well. Pray for Robert and his family.
Then in Alabama the morning we were leaving for Texas we met Scott. He is a truck driver and was eating breakfast in the hotel lobby. He has to be away from his family for months at a time. We didn't have long to talk but I asked him how I could pray for him and he said to please pray that he was going to be given a permanent truck driving job so that he could support his family. So pray for Scott and that he will get a permanent job and I felt as if God was really pursuing him so pray that he will make a decision to give his life to the Lord. I stressed the urgency of submitting his life to the Lord and that He will take care of him forever.\
P.S. One more sweet story. As we walked into Connie's beautiful home, Chloe looked at me and said, "When I grow up I am going to be a missionary just like you are and I'm going to sell all of my dolls and animals." I know God is so proud of Miss Chloe and heart for Him. He is shining so bright through this most precious child.

Kimberley, every time I visit your blog I am just amazed by your sweet spirit. And I LOVE Lottie's new hairstyle. She looks so grown-up, though. Ack! The years, they are a-flying.
So glad you all made it home safely. Enjoy your time in Texas with all of your kids. Love Lottie's short bob.
Lottie looks beautiful... as always.
How faithful God is to work through us when we seek Him and allow Him to use us.
You are beautiful my friend.
