New House!!!

Homeschool room and playroom. Yes, I realize you should separate the two but we don't have enough space and the bedrooms are small. We are looking for a taller bookshelf because we are already out of space with all of our books. Not complaining.....I'm thankful the girls love books! As you can also see, they are not lacking in "stuff".
Our room. We will eventually have things for the walls to give it more life:)
Remember in the girls room in Puebla how I had these dots over the bed? I couldn't find anymore at Home Depot so I peeled them very carefully off the walls and stuck them to wax paper and it worked perfectly! But they won't work on our walls here they are too rough so I put them on the closet doors.
 Lottie and Emma's room
This is a ledge on the staircase. Greg has so much room in the new house for all of his plants....yay!
This is in our entry way. The Woods family took us to an awesome Onyx place in Tecali and Greg bought this gorgeous mirror. I love it!
This is the corner of the... well....I don't know what else to call it except a sitting room. Because I sit there...ha!  I am certain they use it for a dining room  but we put our kitchen table in the kitchen. This is where I do my quiet time. There are two onyx picture frames also on that top shelf but I need to go to Costco and print some pictures for them.

Remember the long living room that I needed to divide? Well, Greg bought these shelves and put them together before we even got home from Texas. On the side that faces the backyard is his office and on the other side is the living room. The things on the shelves are items we have bought here in Mexico and things we brought from Costa Rica. All of those boxes along the wall are the swing set:)
This hutch is in the kitchen and has all of our Talavera in it, I really wish I could afford to have a complete set of Talavera with plates, bowls and serving pieces....sigh...one day:)
The patio in the back with the grill.  Greg thinks this will be the only place to put the swing set so that leaves us putting the table, chairs and the grill somewhere else. Not sure how all of this will turn out but my hubby is the most creative man and he will figure it out!
These are Lottie's tomato plants that she began in Puebla and they are producing tomatoes now! They are super delicious and she loves to check on them each day. She also planted bell peppers for her Mommy but they don't seem to be doing much yet, I hope we have some soon!
This is a tree in the corner that Greg has hung some baskets on and he and the girls added a hummingbird feeder. We were seeing hummingbirds but since we hung the feeder I haven't seen any. Maybe they just eat at odd times.

Anyway, that's pretty much it. There are two bathrooms and they need something for the windows and maybe some pretty towels, that will have to come later.  It still needs some "home" added to it, like more picture frames and things on the walls and maybe even paint the inside but we love it and now we just need some people to come and visit us! Who will be first? We love ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides loving every single picture and how you describe everything, my first thought was O.O "She must have tidied up for this little photo session!!! They can't possibly be this neat on a daily basis! Can they...??" lol Don't mind me. My mind works in mysterious ways as usual!

Your home is beautiful, Kim. So much great stuff. I wanna know what that wood thing under the mirror is. Is it shaped like a leaf or is that just me seeing stuff?

AND I SO WANNA BE FIRST!!!! I could so imagine sitting on that patio, waiting on a steak or something :D

Oh, how I wish....*dreaming*

Love it! So glad you are settling in. I call my sitting/Bible time space "my sanctuary". I tell the kids that they are allowed in my sanctuary, but cannot leave behind a mess. The littles have a hard time with that word and often refer to it instead as my cemetery. I don't know if they genuinely can't remember the word or they just like to give me a hard time:) Enjoy nesting! I hope you are feeling more like your old self now.
