Analeigh was too precious walking her dog Zoli. She is so much smaller than the big girls but she can keep up with every single one of them! Seems like yesterday she was born in Costa Rica when we were in language school:) She gives the best open mouth tongue slobbering kisses on the cheek and was actually pretty taken with Greg when we visited. She is super cute!
The girls were so glad to see their friend Avalyn again. Her family lives on the other side of Mexico City from us so we can't see each other as often as we like but Daddy took us for the day and we had so much fun. They played board games, read books and after lunch we had ice cream at the mall. Everything in their neighborhood is really close to their house and no traffic! (Thou shall not covet....thou shall not covet:)All four girls in the same dress. When we were at the mission meeting, I saw Avalyn and Analeigh in these dresses. We told them that we had the exact same dress at our house so we decided when we saw each other the next time, everyone would wear the blue dress. Aren't they pretty? I put Analeigh's head on Lottie's shoulder, obviously she was not too comfortable (hee hee) plus she was up on a high wall. She was a little scared:) Gorgeous girls!
They all had a great time except for when Avalyn fell on her scooter and got boo boo's on both knees! Poor little thing. Nurse Emma was on the scene as soon as it happened and then the babies came running down the hill to see their big sister. But Avalyn is very brave. Lottie thinks she's brave because she goes to a real school with other children;) Avalyn goes to a school with other Mexican children and it is really a neat place. She was recently in a program for Independence Day and said her lines in the program in Spanish! We are so proud of our friend!
I didn't hardly get any pictures of Kenian. Well, actually most of these pictures were taken by my friend Marissa. Anyway, Kenian is so precious and loves to cuddle. I'm such a sucker for him when he holds his arms up asking me to pick him up.....oh I just can't help myself! He probably would have never learned to walk at my house:)
Great day with good friends. Doug made us a delicious lunch and then they even let us stay three hours past the kids bedtime so that we would miss all of the traffic! Nice:) I felt really bad though because the little babies were running around, especially Analeigh, like they was delirious. They were so tired. Maybe our swing set will be up soon (ahem) and they can come to our house for BBQ next!
We love you guys and are so thankful that God placed us in the same city!
P.S. We had a God story yesterday! Lottie had to go back to the dentist to get more teeth sealed. She normally gets so worked up emotionally she is completely uncooperative and crying, sometimes screaming for over an hour and then she will relax. Wears this Mommy out! So for two weeks we have been studying about trusting God. We have studied David, Moses and Lottie's favorite, Peter walking on water. We talked about how we have to keep our eyes on God and then and only then will we feel His presence. So we walked into the dentist yesterday and I braced myself for the worst, the little stinker walked right in and laid in the chair with super obedience and faith and never moved a muscle. Eliana and her assistant could hardly believe their eyes and kept commenting over and over about how good she was being, with their limited English. Eliana asked me what happened to her and I told her about the stories that we have been studying. I left out Peter, so Lottie tapped my hand and reminded me. Eliana took her hand out of Lottie's mouth and Lottie told me to not forget to tell her how Peter could walk on water only if he had His eyes on God but when he took them away from God, he began to sink. Eliana asked me what she said and I told her in Spanish. They both sort of smiled but had nothing else to say. I have been waiting to point out to Lottie that we all have testimonies and when we begin to collect them we can tell them to others, just like yesterday. That was her very own testimony. She was very excited. I'm not sure Eliana and her assistant believed in a God like that......but I know one little girl that was shown that He was right there....all along and her little light was shining bright!

What a awesome testimony for Lottie! Praise the Lord! I was crying reading this!
Kim, that is an INCREDIBLE story. How encouraging for Lottie that she was able to share about the Lord with her words AND with her actions.
So beautiful!!!
And that encourages me too.
It also reminds me of how we are suppose to always be teaching our kids about the wonders of the Lord....and what He does for His people. You were so faithful to do that by teaching Lottie all about Peter and David and Moses!!!
Love you, my friend...
Oh Kim, what a beautiful story of God's faithfulness. Bravo to your little girls for pressing into Him and believing His promises!
Love the God story. So proud of Lottie. And praying for all your needs.
I miss you all so much! hugs.......
What a gal, that Little Lottie is! Great job Lottie, for being such a brave witness for God & great job Momma for tucking those little pearls into Lottie's heart.
Praise the Lord for Lottie's trust!!!!
