Joyful Emma Jane

 You love jumping up and down on the couch and the bed! You love for Mommy to catch you jumping on the bed and then you laugh super loud and say, "Oh sorry Mom, I didn't know" :)

 Your entire face almost disappears into your smile and your laugh is contagious! At night when you and Lottie are supposed to be going to sleep, I can hear you say, "Lottie, tickle me!" Thank goodness you are homeschooled or you would be in trouble constantly for the endless chatter and giggling. I know because Mommy was always in trouble for it in school:)

 You make friends so easily everywhere you go. It doesn't matter to you that they speak Spanish, you are not interested in learning Spanish. You just chatter away in English and they talk to you in Spanish and it works....somehow:) It must be your magnetic personality!  You absolutely love looking at books. School frustrates you but I know that once you begin reading well, there will be no stopping you! You will be my little bookworm:)

You love water! You don't like to put your head under the water but you are forever putting it in your mouth....still....at the age of (almost) 7! We have to watch you in Mexico because the water is so yucky here, thank goodness we don't have a bathtub:)

Family is very important to you sweet baby.You and Lottie are not just sisters but famous friends!  I know that you have had a long journey but you have grown to love all of us. It literally breaks your heart that you live so far away from Bubba and Sissy. You are also discovering your own story about where your life began in South Korea, Mommy is so proud of you.

You love love love carousels! They make you giggle and squeal and you just cannot get enough!

You love to pretend, whether you are a princess in a far away land or the Mommy and Lottie is your baby. You don't really like being the Mommy, you prefer to be the baby....that is your role in our family....Emma Jane you will always be our baby:) You have such an innocence about you that I truly love.  We love you Emma Jane!
