Thank you First Baptist Irving!!!!!

Lottie and Emma each received this huge thing of bows! And by the looks of both of them in these pictures....they could use them. lol
They both received the sweetest dresses and Lottie's dress came with a tiny matching dress for a doll. Of course, her teddy bear will be wearing that precious dress!

When we left Texas, we left one of our favorite books.....Pinkilicious! So now they have another one to take with us and Silverlicious too!
Greg and I received lots of pretty picture frames and towels!!!! I know towels don't seem like a big deal but they are so expensive in Mexico:) Obviously, they read our blog because look at the Velveeta Cheese and the HUGE GIGANTIC box of Reeses! The precious green box has ribbon and sequins and is just perfect for a little sewing box!
Greg received some amazing gift cards and the sweetest letter from a student at DBU. There was also a large gift bag completely FULL of snack crackers:)  I didn't even take my camera with me when we drove out to the church...ugh...I struggle with remembering my camera when we are in Texas. We met Allison James who was the first contact I had with this church when I was looking for missionary housing for stateside. She was precious! The girls took to her right away and I don't know what happened to Lottie but she was so friendly and relaxed and immediately took to Allison. We met Allison's dad, Will, who leads the class music and the choir. We also met the pastor, John Durham, and told him what a blessing his church was to our family.

These people have never met us before but they have been loving on us for months! They have sent us the most encouraging e-mails and I can't tell you what a wonderful feeling that is to know that someone is praying for you.....personally lifting up your individual names to the Father and praying for specific ministry needs and goals. It is really an amazing feeling:) I don't take prayer lightly so when they take the time to let me know they are praying....well....it is so humbling and brings us to tears.

We thank you Will & Janet James, Allison James, David & Regina Bennette, Kerrie Greathouse, Carol Warner, Frank & Linda Goodman, Terry & Holly Willis, Melanie Ericson, Margie O'Dell, Rosemary Lowe, Greg & Mitzi Roach and Jeff Wadsworth!!!! I hope I didn't leave anyone out, one of the cards didn't have a name on it. We love ya'll so much and we thank God for you in our lives!

veleveeta?? Ha - I would have thought in Mexico there would be no shortages of cheese :-) I love it when sweet people open their hearts and lives like they are loving on Jesus Himself!!

You know, I read this post and just thought ~ yep, you surely reap what you sew. I think that scripture is broader than we may know!! It's wonderful to see people loving on you and blessing you like that ~ I can't think of a more deserving family!! And to hear they are praying for you ~ again, you are SO deserving! Of all the wonderful examples I have been blessed with in my life, there are only a few that have really impacted me in the area of prayer: and YOU, my sweet friend, are one of them! You don't just say it, you DO it! When you say you are praying for me, I KNOW and trust that you are. You are my 'mentor' in this area, so-to-speak and I often share with people about my sweet bloggy friend who made such an impact on this area of my life a few years ago, and the great respect I have for you, dear Kimberly!

Enjoy this time with your family. It is so fun peaking in on your blog posts and photos. Can't wait to see all the wedding pics!

May God richly bless the remainder of your time with your family!

OXO,
Tanya
