Once upon a time......

Once upon a time there was a group of people who loved Jesus more than they love themselves. They prayed and prayed about a way they could touch the lives of others who live in foreign countries. God sent them their very own people to love. They began praying for this missionary family who worked with the people and searched God for ways they could be a part of the work. Mexico City is a huge place with millions of people. There were houses as far as they eye can see....all the way up into the mountains! How could they impact this city and live so far away?
They began by getting to know the missionary family and their children. They searched their hearts and learned about the people and the city and grew to love them also. The church group would read their newspapers and hear of horrible things that happened in Mexico but that never stopped their love for the people. They knew that the people were suffering....even the drug cartel....everyone in this dark place needed a Savior and they were committed. Maybe they even began noticing in their own neighborhoods other Mexican families and those in need and God began to stretch them.  They began sending things to the missionary family.
This special group of people had many different individuals in it. Some were gifted with words and sent e-mails that encouraged the missionary family in a way that they really will never understand. They asked deeper questions than "How are you?" , they made the missionary family feel as if they sincerely cared about them...and the missionary family felt so loved. Some were gifted by working at Michaels and sending craft things to the missionary children! At Christmas, they all bought very specific things they knew the missionary family loved like Velveeta cheese, Reeses peanut butter cups, hair bows, books, Amazon gift cards and more.  They mailed bibles and booklets for the precious church the missionary family is working with for the church to spread all over the country and use for outreach.
And God was so pleased with this very special group of people that He blessed their lives for eternity. They are His good and faithful children. They have delivered God's Word into the hands of a very precious church who will make sure that no stone is left unturned and they will never stop working for the Lord. They have enlisted to be in His army forever. And no one knows the future of these bibles and these tracts and the lives they will touch. But we have hope and we walk by faith and not by sight! Each bible and tract was prayed over and we will believe in our hearts that those lives will be changed forever. The End.

We love and appreciate you Encore Class of First Baptist Irving in Texas!!!! Muchas Gracias!!!!!!!!!
